What does it mean when there's an intermittent deep itch in the foot. I know someone who had a deep itch in the stomach reflex on & off for 6 years. What could this indicate?

...could be anything. We have to take into account a lot of other factors, ie, is it pressure from footwear?
However, what immediately sprung to my mind was - circulation/diabetes. Could also mean an intolerance to certain foods, ie wheat.
