Hi
A new client has been coming for reflexology for the last four weeks.
During this time her headaches etc and tiredness have improved and she feels much better.
However during the treatments she says that she gets pins and needles in her hands and they go numb. As soon as the treatment ends the pins and needles etc disappear.
She says that her hands normally feel hot all the time but during reflexology they feel cold.
I am just curious about this and would welcome any opinions.
Thanks 🙂
Hi reikiheart,
Could simply be her body position during the session and whether she is not allowing her shoulders and arms to relax. Maybe suggest a different position, add in a few pillows and start with some relaxation breaths.
Its possible as energy clears with what you do, it expresses itself in tingling and numbness, warmth, coldness etc in hands. Sounds good to me.
Hi Reikiheart I get this alot with some clients and I perceive it as shifting in energy and improvement in circulation, jnani is correct you should be pleased with this 🙂
Hi, thanks for all your replies.
I did in fact tell the client that it was caused by shifting energies but it's good to get 'back-up' from other reflexologists.:)
Thanks again
Hi
This has happens with one of my clients on a number of occasions, and its usually her left hand that she gets pins and needles in when having her reflexology treatment, glad to hear your thoughts on this as i feel also its is a shift of energy in the body.
