I am about to renew and wondered if anyone has any thoughts on preferences for these two bodies. Are there any CHthA members who could tell me what is on the website info for members please and what you get from them? I am full member of FHT at the moment and a student (free) member of CHthA as I am also still studying - and wondering whether to swap or stay with FHT.

I am currently with both, both provide information, therapist magazines and information/advertizing from their sites.
However I have found i get more updates from the FHT, i attend a local fht meeting once a month, obtain 2CPD points each time i attend, get a good networking going with the group and support. I also find the Fht have lots of relevant courses to attend to update your cpd points, and these are sent by email regularly.
Personal preference really, check who you get your insurance through, you may have to be a member of one or the other to obtain your insurance from them.
If you go on their websites you should be able to access benefits of membership on both sites, have a read through and go from there.
Also with FHT you get 5% discount with Physique.co.uk and 10% off Base Formula x
