Hi
What therapies you practice? EFT is quite effective in pain management and even curing such conditions.
I am a big fan of mudras, a form of yoga using the fingers of both hands. http://www.crystallotus.com/Mudras/10mudra.htm

Maybe the above link will help. Explore the subject of mudras and undersatnd and then you can introduce it as 'home work' for the client.
I must add here that before prescribing any mudra study it for any contra indications. Some mudras don't work with certain physical conditions. But on the whole they are pretty safe an awesome healing treasure. Good luck
