My friend has agreed for me to post this.

She's suffering from Angina and is now taking a staggering 25 tablets a day for various things, some for the angina itself but others to counter the side-effects of the tablets she's taking.

Would Reflexology be beneficial for her to try?

She's desperate to reduce the number of tablets she's currently taking as its taking over and ruling her life. If reflexology could support her body to heal to the extent that she could reduce the number of tablets I think she's up for giving it at try.

What are peoples thoughts on this?

IMO your friend is still looking outside of herself to try and reduce her dis-ease. ie. swapping prescribed tablets for a different option.

Having Reflexology could be the first step to starting to take responsibility for herself and what she manifests in her life, but it would only be one piece of a much bigger jigsaw.
It would give her some valuable stress reducing time out to start to evaluate what has happened in her life.
The body does re-balance during the session but she needs to be committed to continue the changes in between each appointment.

Certainly wouldn't recommend tweaking tablets without GP's intervention 😉

Her angina was brought on by the stress of an employer she once worked for. She's not with them any more and is in a job that she loves.

She has actually been in denial about her situation for a long time, but since meeting myself and another friend we have guided her to facing her health issues head on and get it sorted. She's been so frustrated about the number of tablets she on, she has commented about stopping them all together. I've convinced her to consider her options carefully and she's still on them for the time being. I do hope the consultants find away to repair some of the damage done by the employer she worked for, or at least make her life more comfortable without feeling likes she's a walking pharmacy.

I'm going to recommend that she goes for the reflexology for a stress reducer, as it would help balance her system and maybe enough for some of the symptoms to reduce which hopefully will mean her gp can change the number of tablets or at least lower doses so she doesn't have so many side effects which then need tablets to counteract. I'm also going to suggest EFT as it has certainly helped me in the past year.

Now I think I've answered my own question. lol
