I'm thinking of doing some voluntary work at my local drug and alcohol recovery centre, clients stay for a period of time for treatment and rehabilitation.
I'm a qualified complementary therapist, trained in several different therapies, but I'm thinking of offering reflexology.
I haven't had experience working with this particular group, and would really like any tips or advice from anyone out there who has any knowledge to share.
I was thinking of short 20 minute treatments. I'm not sure if all, but some clients will be having detox medication. There will be a nurse on site who would do a handover, but I guess I'm not sure what the main things to avoid are in terms of contraindications etc.
