Hello All
I am looking for a cover I can use for doing Lomi LOmi massage directly on the table (allowing for lovely under body work). I do this on my own couch and clean it after each use but am going to be doing it on a couch in a rented room and would rather use a cover I am responsible for rather than risk their table.
The only one I have found is from Bestmassage and my partner previously ordered one and didn't like the feel of it - and the £15 delivery charge rather puts me off too!!
Most of the others seem to be for skinny little 24cm beauty tables. Mine is Length: 73" (185cm)
Width: 28" (71cm)
nothing excessive.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated...
Namaste
Mary

Hi Mary,

I can't be of much help I'm afraid. My searches only came up with Bestmassage which I have been using for a number of years. They are widely used in Germany where Lomi Lomi Nui is far more popular than it is over here. IMHO, once oiled they don't feel any different to the couch material. You may not like the feel but have any clients complained. Your reality is your clients comments. As far as cost of delivery; it's negligible when taken over the life of the sheet.

Just a thought - Does cling film work?

How about a mattress protector used for bed wetting and then cover this with a normal terry towel couch cover for comfort? or is that a crazy idea!

I think you're missing the point Maria. In some styles of Lomilomi the client lays directly on the oil sheet. The material is similar to the material used to cover the couch. The sheet is oiled so that your arms can slide easily under the body while the client is supine. This allows some particularly powerful strokes, particularly for the back.
