Hey Fozzyo,

Yes Jing does mean something in Chinese medicine.

All I can say about doing a Jing course is yes yes yes!!!
If my enthusiasm about Jing massages courses could be bottled and sold I'd be a rich woman.

I've done lots of courses with them over the last few years and they are great. So far I've done the Foundation course, lower back, head and neck, shoulder girlde, hot stone fusion, table thai to name just a few. I'm hopin gto do the soft tissue relase course in November and I'm saving up for the Myofascial Release course for next year.

They may seem pricier than other places but you truly get what you pay for. They run a 3 day foundation course but there is no requirement to do this before you do any of their other courses. Most of the courses are in Brighton, well acutally Falmer which is a few stops from Brighton or Lewes train stations.

The main tutors are Meaghan & Rachel. They are lovley teachers and the courses are always so much fun. The courses are very hands on and you can use what you've been taught straight away. Doing their courses makes you excited about getting out there and helping people with chronic pain conditions. Doing training with Jing has improved my confidence with clients who need help with pain and not just a relaxing pampering massage.

Further details are available here: www.camexpo.co.uk

I think there are few other Jingers on this board so hopefully they'll back me up.

I would also recommend Jing. There was an earlier thread on this forum Jing Courses which is worth reading although I was surprised that it didn't attract more replies.

Hi fozzyo

I have been on a couple of Jing courses and they are fantastic.
I did the Save you Hands course and the Introduction to Deep Tissue courses. The tutors are excellent, really friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. They love to have fun in their classes.

So yeah go for it

Hi there I agree with everyone else - Jing Massage Courses are great, really good atmosphere and excellent training , you will leave inspired and very motivated, the girls have a great way with teaching. I have only attended the once course with them and would love to attend more.
Good luck and hope you get on ok with them.

This is a very old thread, but I am prompted to revive it by Melsy’s recent comment:

So, how do I learn to do a more effective massage, and as I massage a number of people, both men and women, who use the gym and run and clearly it would be beneficial to them.

Jing do several CPD courses, including the following:
low back pain
hip and pelvis
ribs, thorax and abdomen

I would definitely recommend all three of these courses to anyone whose tutor has failed to cover gluteal or abdominal massage.

My husband has trained with them very recently, and he said it was fantastic and is booked on some more. And as we live in Scotland, and the courses are in Brighton mainly, its a significant effort for him to be there - but he still thinks its worthwhile.
