Can anyone tell me if they use electric heat pads on clients. I have read about the wheat bags but just wondered if anyone used the pads. Thanks

It's so lush to have your couch heated in winter - I use a fleecy single bed electric blanket but Lidl are selling heat pads at the moment, which you could use.

Thanks but this is a pad that you put onto the clients body.

At a spa I used to put wheat pads around the clients neck to make them feel a little more cosy. At a clinic I sometimes used a gel heat pad that I place into a bowl of hot water to heat up. I use these to put on a clients back to loosen muscles that feel very tight.

I've never used heated pads but like Chris Rams I use a single heated blanket on my couch that the client lies on top of. It keeps their body warm throughout the treatment.

I use a thermophore heating pad in the winter, I'll put it on the table before the client gets there to warm it up. Once they get on the table I'll put it on their feet or put it on their back when I work on their legs. I'll turn it off after about 10-15 minutes, in case it gets to hot. Most of the clients love it!
