I have just heard of this and wondered if any of you have come across it? What are your thoughts on it?

Never heard of it before and from my googling I'm not sure what to make of it either. I found this link which is thought provoking though.

There is more info if you follow the link to tribes.net.

I'd be interested to see what others think as well.

What are your thoughts Serenwen?

Like Earthbabe I have never heard of it following the tribes link it appears to be another name for energy or chi, unless I read it wrong (which is more than likely as brain is all over the place today).

light and blessings

Hi

Orgonite or another word would be Energy Transformers. I found Orgonite a few years back, your can even make you own from a recipe. For me they have been very good around electronic equipment (whilst studying) and to absorb negative energy in places where needed. Here is a website which give abit more info, but there is more info out there about Orgonite.

Thanks Lynan2131. It's useful to hear from someone who has experience of these things.

I'm not sure what I make of this. I watched a video on the making of orgonite. Couldn't quite work out if the crystals would make any difference as the video I saw used amethyst, citrine and quartz individualy in the blocks. As they all contained metals I thought it was more a case of magnetism that was causing the effects. Quite what the effects are I'm not too sure. Interesting none the less.

I'd recommend caution in working with Orgonite, whether it's a batch made by someone else or by yourself at home.

One of the crystal teachers I continue my learning with thought that whilst they do draw in energy they're indiscriminate as to the type of energy. So it's not just negative energy around electrical objects, but also the positive energy we want around.

I'd suggest doing your own research into how they make you feel. Choose a time when you're feeling strong and without other distractions around, and see how a piece of this makes you feel. If you find that whilst meditating you're fine, then it might be okay for you. If you find after meditating that you're less energetic then perhaps you're better off without it.

Plain old smokey quartz and black tourmaline and great for gridding up around computers etc. And you've got more involvement in how to program them than a piece of orgonite.

Just my 2 cents.
