Hi all!
This is probably (for some/or all) stupid question, but I'd like to know if you can heat stones/crystals in the oven without any damage to them...? I would like to put my stones in a clay - this is the part that the clay has to be heated - however I do not want to use a glue afterwards and very tiny pieces of clay can go black or break down.
Back home - in old Czechoslovakia I used similar thing to Clay - it was cold "Modulit" that you didn't have to put in the oven but you boil it - this way it doesn't loose the colour or break down...

I am asking this as I have few stones I like to use & also give out as a presents to friends - as a pendants...

I am sorry, if I am being silly with this question - but really would like to do this and am not gonna experiencing unless I have 100% yes answer that this is ok... Maybe there's just certain stones/crystals you can do this with - please let me know if so...

Any advice on this is greatly welcome!!!

thank you!!!
Love&light xxxx

I think better not. If you want to cleanse them. There are several methods.

Hiya

There are some stones, like Amethyst and Smoky Quartz, that change into another crystal when heated. So I wouldn't recommend it. If you go to an art shop, or Hobbycraft, you should be able to find something similar to the clay you used in Czechoslovakia.
