I was just wondering if anyone has taken the SNHS crystal therapy course?
I'd like to talk to someone on here about how you found the course to be and a few other questions.
SNHS for those who don't know stands for school of natural health sciences.
The other questions are below:
1. How did you find the course to be? Was it helpful?
Would you recommend the course to those who are interested in becoming crystal healing practitioners?
2. What crystals would I need for the course?

This was one I did many years ago when I first started getting into crystals. Like the Stonebbridge course, it is ok as an introduction for personal use, but in retrospect I wouldn't waste my money.:(
I agree, I did this a while back but dont think I evenfinished it as it was pretty basic and you can find just as much information in good books.
Your money would be better spent doing a 1 day introduction course with someone local and if you really get into it and want to practice, then go move onto a longer 1-2 year course.

Hi i know a lady in somerset who many yrs experience that does correspondence courses for crystal healing it very resonable price .Try looking up the atlantis college of crystal healing .Hope this helps .Angela

I have done the SNHS course and have the diploma, but afterwards I did an 18 month course locally and I felt it was much better. The second course went much more into the spiritual side and at times our group seemed to be more like a spiritual development group.
Having said that I think the SNHS course provides all the basic information you need as a good Crystal Therapist should be working intuitively not following information in books. I wouldn't have felt confidant enough to work on paying clients if I hadn't done the second course which involved much more practical work.
Some people think that just laying stones on someone is going to heal them. The stones have their own healing energy but it takes a good therapist to help the client clear the blockages and raise their vibrations.

I agree Steph. You also undergo your own development which can be quite an experience too. I feel you need the support of a tutor & other students to share experiences, discuss how to deal with things that may arise, both for yourself & clients. For example it can be quite unnerving dealing with a client who has an emotional reaction for the first time, especially if you have only done a correspondence course with no practical work attached.
I completed the course on Crystal Healing with SNHS and found it very rewarding, I would encourage anybody starting out, to invest in a professional course that gives a recognised qualification. At least to start with, as it will give you a grounding in your interests. I have studied for years with different online correspondence courses, attended universities, attended workshops, weekend courses, and as a Holistic health advisor and salon owner, the best advise I can give to any body wishing to expand on their knowledge is study, & practise, everybody has to start out somewhere and we all learn through are own experience. The School of Natural Health Sciences is a good starting point and comes highly recommeded.
