Hi there,
I wondering if anyone could advise me. I have heard that amber necklaces/bracelets are good to help with teething babies.
I was wondering if anyone has tried this and noticed a difference? I'm expecting my first niece/nephew this month and would like to get the parents someone special for their first baby.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Amber is quite soft. Wouldn't it get teeth marks?
I would think this a very real risk.....I don't take everything the Daily Mail says as true.....but choking on small items like beads is a real risk for babies. Since I am very sceptical about any supposed analgesic properties of amber personally its not something I would give to a baby
I know someone who has used Amber to help with teething but she had an ankle bracelet of Amber that her son wore so well away from his teeth and under clothes.

Thanks, that sounds like a good idea!! 😀
Hi,
I use am amber anklet with my seven month old, no where near his mouth by the way. Its common sense to keep small items away from babies after all! I notice a real difference in his dribbling, reduced by 90%, and is defnitely calmer. I am a homeopath and also use Chamomilla regularly as a remedy as well as other remedies which are indicated. He wears his anklet at night too, although he also has a necklace which he doesn't wear at night. Hope this is helpful - also Baltic Amber is the one to get.
