Hi
Wondered if someone could give me advise. If a person had dilated capillaries I understand that stimulating treatments would be contraindicated from beauty therapy (steaming). Does this include exfoliation?

Hi Susan,
Iwould say that stimulating treatments such as grainy exfoliation would be included as a contraindication. There are some Enzyme peels on the market that exfoliate but do not contain granules - they go on like a mask and are gently massaged into the skin, then removed. I've opted for Enzyme peels when treating clients with sensitive skin or those who have many dilated capillaries.
