The prophecies of Saint Malachy.

16th century fakes? Harmless nonsense? Or is there to be just one more pope before Peter the Roman and the prophecy is fulfilled? If so what does the prophecy mean? Is the ‘seven hilled city’ Rome, the Catholic Church, or what?

I don’t give much credence to prophesying in this way but evidently there are many that do, including the Vatican for the last few hundred years. Indeed it is reported, though I don’t know if it’s true, that Pope John Paul the Second was a firm believer.

" In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there shall reign Peter the Roman who will feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the terrible judge will judge the people. The end"“

RE: Saint Malachy

I was wondering whether anyone would pick up on this, as I mentioned it too in one of my earlier threads re the Pope. I guess it is one of those things though that only time will tell. There are two aspects to this prophecy, one that states there will be one more Pope after John Paul II, and one that states he will be the last one. I guess we can safely rule out the latter at least.

RE: Saint Malachy

It was also predicted by Nostradamus that the Pope would die during Saturn when the roses were blossoming and we are the roses that are blossoming into the fullness of GOD's creation. We are also in a Saturn transit and have been for 2 years it finishes in July this year. Also heard yesterday that there is an even earlier ancient prediction the source said 10,000 years where it states that the Pope would be born during a Solar eclipse and die during one (this solar eclipse was on the 8th April). It also said that there would only be one Pope after him.

Finish of Rome I would say yes if we embrace what Jesus predicts in the bible see 'ignorant christians' thread.

He also said do not be deceived by those that build upon my foundations with gold, silver, wood and straw e.g. glorious buildings. The scholars have done a great job in throwing open the gateways for the people to walk through and many are walking through those gateways IMHE.

Also discovered that the reason that the Brits were converted to christianity in the first place was because the peasants were promised equality and freedom from oppression. Sounds like the original ethics of the socialist party.

I just love this quote from the man that started it.

"The outcast in his lonely broodings and his fits of remorse will get nearer to the heart of God than will those who observe all the rites of Christianity but are strangers to its spirit." Keir Hardy the founder of the Labour Party.

Fundamentalists certainly appear to be a stranger to its SPIRIT and also the wonderful convenant of the law of love that Jesus bestowed.

I also have this to share

"The soul of Christianity is going through it's very own crucifixion due to its crimes against humanity, but the good news is that a purer soul will ascend from its own ashes, the phoenix of Christ Consciousness will rise beyond all limitations and boundaries, nothing will stand in the way of divine love and complete oneness with GOD. It is all part of the divine plan." from Sacred Words

All structures of power, control, domination and walls of separation are coming down at last.

It is the end times hippee! Golden age here we come......

Love beyond measure
