Having not been away for a holiday for many years, I have finally booked online for a short break in Guernsey.
I am told we need medical and holiday insurance. Where do I get that? Any ideas would be greatfully received.

I arrange my holiday insurance through my bank - not sure that you need medical insurance for Guernsey - arn't they still part of GB? If you google holiday insurance you may find other options.
We get our travel insurance through our bank because it's free, but you will medical insurance:
In the past we've always found the post office a cheap place for insurance, but it's worth shopping around. Don't go by the headline price because previous and ongoing conditions make a big difference and have to be quoted seperately.
