Um, not sure if it's too late, but you never know:

It can take a while to adjust to being away with all that is entailed. A break from the old routine can be refreshing, but taking time out can suddenly make us aware of certain feelings we manage to suppress the rest of the time. That awareness is not always comfortable but is sometimes a necessary part of the unwinding process.

If low moods do not have an environmental cause, eg work stress, bereavement etc, then you need to look to organic cause. Consider nutrition, vitamin levels etc. If the spark has gone and you don't feel like a puppy-dog in the garden when in an exciting new place, then I suggest this is indicative of the need for a whole health makeover - find out what areas of your health need improving and deal with them. You've got the rest of the forum and beyond to approach that!

Maybe look beyond the regular resort destinations as well. My top tip for choosing a holiday is to go somewhere that is home to someone that you know. They will provide a point of reference and a connection to the local resources. You'll meet other people through them, find out some local knowledge and really get the inside info on the place. It is much more enjoyable than visiting somewhere as a complete outsider and being prey to all the tourist traps.

Good luck, better time next year.

Retreats for well being through relaxation

My partner and I run retreat breaks up and down the country, they are usually three night breaks but during that time you get to have holistic treatments, past life regression tarot readings and lots of fun. There are activities going on for you to try your hand at like Aura reading, pendulum dowsing, working with the angels and lots of other stuff. They are a great experience and you meet new friends its a great time to discover yourself and relax and unwind. A break with a difference. One guest said that after her break she felt like she had been on a two week holiday.
