Today I am grateful for....not being a refugee. It would seem that today's photo of a drowned Syrian boy - shown widely in the media - has finally catalysed significant developments. Politicians appear to be concerned and are saying the right things about proposed actions...we shall see. Meanwhile there are many charities that are taking donations to help those in this crisis situation. A spokesman for one of these charities said that the public have shown eagerness at finally being able to do something to help i.e. not with the apathy that the media is depicting. This is heartening...that people still care and respond.

Today I am grateful for finall y winning a prolonged legal dispute to get what my mother wished for me in her will! Justice has prevailed! Ecstatic!
