I was lucky with my tutor then, what she didn't know about Health and Safety or whatever course we were doing (I have done 4 courses with same tutor) wasn't worth knowing, and that was a VTCT course
I am doing the same course along side reflexology and there should be guidence in the assessent workbook, as well as, a list of the relevent legislation which you can google. Also ask you tutor for the college salons codes of practice/ethics. Hope this helps.
I agree with ChrisRams, I only started my health/ safety and employment standards in Janurary (I started in september) thats only because I kept asking, and I have had no help or lesson at all, my tutor said I was a 'bright girl', and to study at home. Although I have not had any problems with the course, I do feel short changed as I have paid for a course without any tutoring.

Hi u should have course notes with the health and saftey. i completed it last years its like a booklet and you jusrt reword to show your understanding. must admit i hated the A and P
We weren't taught very much about H & S but encouraged to research it for ourselves. TBH the test paper was laughable. Multiple choice and SO easy. Lord knows who sits and thinks them up. :D:D I did no revision whatsoever and got 99%.
