Hiya
Just wondered how many of you have done this. I have selectively chosen a couple of clients over the years, who are reliable and interested in therapies which I practice. I tend to choose based on the rapport we have, openness to try new things, appropriateness of treatment (will they get benefit - I'll also learn more from that), where they are in their lives - do they need encouragement and whether they would normally try the therapy, or if they are a bit strapped at the time and I think it would do them good.
Hi Justine,
I have used one or two clients for case studies. Those that were regular clients and had a deep interest in the therapies they received and very interested in their own holistic health. Like yourself it was really based on the relationship I built up with the client and them being interested in the new therapy - in my case it was reflexology. They were happy to receive free treatments over the number of weeks and gave me honest feedback which helped me immensely. I found it easier to relax when treating them as case studies and to get into it and as they had received massage, IHM etc previously they relaxed straight away. I am very lucky in that they have come back as paying clients.
Blessings,
Rachel.
