HI all, i am looking at day courses to do this year, as i have my sports massage exams in june and july.
I have been looking at the seated course mainly.
Has anybody used the seed institute or Inspire??
If so what where your thoughts, i guess i am just needing confirmation that the tutors are good and they are well run establishments.
Thanks
Sorry, I have only just seen this.
I haven't had any experience of Inspire, but did a two day post grad course in Aromatherapy and Palliative Care with S.E.E.D. a couple of years ago which was excellent.
I have had a look at the courses offered with this company and they look good, anyone else had any recent experience with S.E.E.D Institute?
Paula
Sorry I missed this. I've trained with both SEED and Inspire (most recently Inspire). Both have good instructors but I would tend to favour Inspire over SEED with regards to the more clinical therapies such as Sports Massage. Also I've had several experiences of SEED cancelling their courses on me because they don't get enough students. Inspire on the other hand have been excellent with this, even being flexible enough to put on courses for myself and a friend at their standard rate. One time they even did a 1-2-1 at their normal 1-day course rate.
Just to qualify this, I've trained with SEED at Ash, Surrey rather than their branch in Wales and up in Kingston with Inspire where the founder of the company is based (but trained with her assistant manager who was excellent).
Thanks for the information, do you happen to have the website details for Inspire (I will google them too, to see if I can find it) as Kingston is not far from me, so would be easier to get to than the S.E.E.D Institute in Ash.
Thanks
Paula
