RE: reflexology partners problem
OK, OK - so they're not THAT different.
But as you said men have larger feet so there is more room for reflex points etc. They often have a different tone and feeling etc. Anyway dont shoot the messenger, I'm just telling you what my tutor says!
She also says that women's feet are often squished at the toes due to the stilletoes worn. We could also get into the difference in hygiene and care of feet between the sexes but that might spark more debate!

RE: reflexology partners problem
I find men's feet quite funny.
RE: reflexology partners problem
Wow! How sensitive can these women be? I can understand women being nervous about having unfamiliar men do a full body massage on them when they are new to a course, but FEET?? If you've got a problem with people touching your feet, why would you go on a reflexology course anyway...?
Or am I being insensitive?!
RE: reflexology partners problem
I agree with Supersub. When I trained, my tutor made it clear at the beginning of the course what was expected of us and that if any of us were unhappy, then the course wasn't for them.
There were one or two who didn't want to work on men for religious reasons, but again, the tutor said that as long as she knew at the beginning of the course, that was fine.

RE: reflexology partners problem
Thanks for all your replies! So how do you "move around", Russ, if there are no men on your course?
Yes, Rosie, it's just a taster course, so I don't know if they'll take it further or not. I think the problem they have is with an older man touching THEM, rather than doing his feet! We've only a couple of weeks left, so don't know whether to push this...
