With respect colltom

I am presently doing a degree in herbalism, adult study tends to be more self driven than what it was like years ago back at school.

Ergo, the tutors give you so much information and you need to do the rest yourself.

I have two assignments, each over 1000 word with research based referencing (Harvard style) to be done by Saturday.....and no...I have no-one to help me, just my own volition to get things done.

Your belligerent texting style reply here does nothing to make me want to help you much more than I have already done. Every thread you have posted is asking HP members to do your coursework. This just isn't on.

I gave a relatively detailed reply regarding two other questions of your work on another thread and yet you still came back wanting more (just about answered them for you but you maybe didn't read my reply well enough to work it out for yourself).

I don't wish to get into a competition regarding who has the most "work" to do but we all have things going on in our lives that makes studying hard. I, personally, work a 60+ hour week, have a clinic with 9 practitioners and three staff to run, have children to see to and at this moment a house to sell (and a new one to organise building).

If you are behind in your coursework then be adult about it and contact your training provider, come to a solution and get the proverbial finger out.

That's what learning (especially adult learning) is about.

no worries collton - gets to us all at times and do hope you get it all sorted. Good luck with the rest of your course.

Don't forget - keep smiling... if nothing else - it makes people wonder what you have been up to! lol

Take care

Coltom, I am concerned about your approach to aromatherapy.
You have homework to do and a set amount of time to research the answers - this is perfect for learning.
Being a therapist and having a client means you will need to know your oils, blends, contra-indications and the note synergy within seconds.
Your clients will not know the answers and it seems you are not doing the necessary reading to pass your course, let alone any extended reading.

You ask the question 'what would we do'? Any good therapist here will seek the answer themselves.
I use this forum to help others who are not therapists, and to bounce ideas around with therapists.
I get worried and annoyed when students abuse it to get their home work done.
Being lazy will not help you one bit as a therapist, it will actually make it harder for you.

If you're struggling or the course is run effectively, maybe seek another course or re-sit it next year.
