Colltom - bit like Patchouli's reply I suppose but I did wonder, have you been given / taken good course notes and/ or been told how and where to research? Any good course should surely guide you towards resources to find this information imho.
Good luck!
I didn't see your other post in the other thread Patchouli - just read it. I agree with you totally and wish I had not posted the answers now in my previous post. By getting us qualified therapists to give the answers, it may help them pass their course but it doesn't help them to be a good therapist so reading and researching for themselves is far better.
sorry 4 asking
i'm not looking for answers but explanation as I've said before not getting any at college not understandable anyway. Think I've done well to get this far, have got a+p and these tasks to do in 12 wk 3 to get in thurs. Sorry for thinking i might get sum help. Yes you are qualified but what would you have done if you didnt get any help?
Dear Colltom
I too am studying aromatherapy and need to get 7 hours of homework done by Wednesday (not to mention I work, am mother to two small children, volunteer for a charity and am planning a wedding)...and I find that by using Google and typing your question i.e. 'clary sage essential oil similar hormone' might yield results. Getting stroppy with people on Healthy Pages because they feel they are having to do your homework for you, won't.
colltom - my post wasn't intended to get at you but more to question the teaching and resources of your course as a good course should enable you to search for and find the answers yourself. Personally I find if I have had to do a bit of ferreting around to find an answer - it tends to stay in my brain longer!
Maybe you should go back and ask for more direction/ resources from your course tutor?
Take care and good luck!
