Hi,

I wondered if anyone could tell me whether Stonebridge colleges anatomy and physiology diploma is vctc accredited/approved by them.
I want to do a vctc aromatheraphy and reflexology diploma and know i need the a and p diploma first. however as i have exisiting knowledge would prefer to do it distance learninmg as the times at my local college i cant make.

I also wondered if anyone knew of any other distnance learning anatomy and physiology diplomas that are accredited and are of reasonable price

VTCT is an awarding body, and so dont accredit/approve any other qualification.

I think the stonebridge A&P is accepted by FHT, and is a recognised pre-requisite for most therapy courses.

Does anyone know how much A&P is actually covered in the VTCT Aromatherapy course?

I'm doing this in September (for 36 weeks) and the course info states that it has two modules which are; "blending essential oils" and "providing an aromatherapy massage". It doesn't mention anything about A&P but I have been told that it does cover it.

I was interested in doing a separate A&P course beforehand but am unsure now because the aromatherpy course might provide what I will need to know anyway. Especially, as the college, even though providing quite a number of VTCT courses, runs nothing in A&P. So, I'm wondering if they make up for this by covering a lot within the other individual VTCT courses.

I did a course with stonebridge and i wouldn't touch them with a barge pole again, waste of time!!! I have done seven courses with Isis Therapy training and the are excellent, full of support while training and long after, make you feel comfortable and relaxed and there incouragement is fantastic. I have come on leaps and bounds just throught there advice and support alone and nothing is too much trouble
