I also wondered if anyone knew of any other distnance learning anatomy and physiology diplomas that are accredited and are of reasonable price
thanks emma
Hi Emma
I too had a similar question before settling on my distance learning A&P course and did do alot of digging around. I was told that both VTCT and ITEC do not accredit pure distance learning A&P, as in there is no exam at the end. If you do a distance learning one that claims to be accredited I think you only get the accrediation if you sit an external exam a the college. This is what I was told any way, as I too want to study aroma eventually - worth checking with the provider though.
I settled on doing an FHT accredited distance learning A&P with the Penny Price Aromatherapy Academy in Leicester which I could highly reccommend.
Hope that helps.

Have you checked with VTCT if your prior qualificatation is acceptable?
I'm currently doing a VTCT course where Level 3 A&P is a prerequisite, but there are a couple of students who have it waved because of prior learning.
Myarka.
Thanks for the advice i have emailed vctc to ask.
I have been told of isis therapy training which do an a & p diploma accredited by the guild of holistic therapies.
Does anyone know have any experience of them and know whether vctc would accept this.
