I'm about to take my reflexology exam and wondered if any one had tips or advice...beyond nervous but excited!:o
Hi
As a Tutor, the only advice I give my students is -
For the practical : Don't think about how you are feeling, transfer your thoughts to your 'model' - looking after her wellbeing, putting her at ease, ensuring she's comfortable and giving her the best possible treatment you can. After all, that's what it's all about when you're qualified, the client, not you, your worries or your problems
Don't worry if you forget to work on a reflex - if the examiner notices (and often they don't), he/she may ask you afterwards to demonstrate on the reflex you missed
For the theory: Once you've read through the paper, work on the questions you're comfortable with and knowledgable about as they're the ones that will get you top marke, that leaves you time to focus on the ones you're not so sure about.
Another thing I tell my students is to keep things in perspective - it's only an exam , not life or death , and, should they fail, they can easily resit.
Fortunately, we've never had any Reflexology resits!
Good Luck. Think positive. Tell yourself you're going to do well and you'll sail through

Hi
With the ABC exam - the one that is used by AoR accredited centres - you won't have a practical exam so no worries for you there!
There are questions from the link below that might help with revision for the theory paper. All AoR centres were recently sent a mock paper so perhaps ask your tutor for a copy to work through if you are not having a mock exam session.

Best of luck 😉
