Hi guys, I have my a&p exams in March next year and I'm finding the subject so hard, the past papers are a great help here. Can anyone recommend an a&p book that I can use that has revision questions? My tutor doesn't have any questions which I find strange! Any help would be really appreciated!!!!!

Hello B4E. Are you doing VTCT? When I did mine, all the info required was supplied by the college broken down each week into the various categories i.e. endocrine, respiratory etc. We had a week to learn and then were tested. 100% pass was required before you could move onto the next subject which I found helped a lot as I love structure in courses. Regarding exam questions, my tutor said that VTCT only have a bank of about 50 questions they can ask because of the multiple choice options. By covering all past exam papers you should cover every possible question. You will find the exam a doddle if the same system is still in place. I took mine 3 years ago. Good luck x

Thanks so much Kerry. My course is ITEC but its also multiple choice! Someone emailed me about a book on amazon.com, Anatomy & Physiology by Kate Tierney, seemingly there are over 1,000 questions on it...wouldn't that be fab. Anyway I'm gonna order it and see what its like. Any help is a bonus! my tutor was telling me about another book you can buy from itec with sample questions, she wasn't sure of the name of it but I'm gonna try the itec website and get my hands on that too!!!!! Its a pain that there aren't any sample papers given out!

I'm glad you passed your exams, congrats!!

Louise, I did the ITEC dip a few years ago. Unless its changed drastically since, I wouldn't worry too much. Being a multiple "guess" paper, the answer is already in front of you, and is usually obvious. Some are really simple, just having to know the correct spelling of an item or function. I got a distinction (98%) and I'm thick as mince!:D

You'll be fine, just stay relaxed 🙂
