Hi Caveman,
Thanks for your reply. I can't undrsatnd, even to this day, what happened with my 'brief encounter.' All I can say, is that it was not frightening but very calming - I felt very much at ease with it. The light was puzzling though. Normally, very bright light would dazzle folk, but this did not.
Another strange incident. known as 'The Rowley Regis Case' or 'The Mince Pie Incident' occurred many years ago. I remember this case and how amusing it was:

Have you heard of it before? Was the lady drunk on the Xmas sherry, or was it real?
Love,
Patsy.

Not heard of that one before but it's very amusing! They sound like pesky little elves don't they! Sometimes it's the weird stories that turn out to be the best ones as our minds tend to think aliens are going to be very serious creatures.
Perhaps Venetian has heard of it...
Thanks Caveman. A very odd story. From what I remember of the original story, the lady's husband came home to find his wife drunk. I'm not saying it didn't happen, only that it's unusual, for as you say, we think of alien stories as spooky or serious. This one proves that not all of them are.
David - have you heard of this story?
Love,
Patsy.

Haven't heard of that story, no. And your 1995 incident actually doesn't sound like a UFO (alien encounter) one to me. Occupants appear to specific people who are repeated abductees, and they are tracked: aliens (which they don't sound like in appearance) don't appear in the same place irrespective of who's there. Interesting, but not necessarily UFO-related....

Dear David,
Thank you for your reply. I don't know what these beings were, whether they be aliens or not. I know that after the 'encounter' I discovered that people had seen UFO's in the area for a few days prior.
I don't know if all alien encounters involve an abductee situation, or that they are all necessarily scary experiences. I don't know. I only know that my encounter was something very strange yet pleasant. While I think that some people's experiences may well be awful, some maybe are not. Trouble is David, we only ever hear of the scary ones; the nice ones and offbeat ones (e.g. The Rowley Regis Case) rarely get a mention.
It was something I never expected to happen because prior to that, although I had 'seen things' in the sky before, I never thought about it much. Only my experience, and the Rendlesham Incident of 1980 made any impact on me.
Love,
Patsy.
