A fresh new start comes with a new year
Time to reflect on things we hold dear
Old friends remembered, new friends made
Hope these memories will never fade
Thoughts of families who are far away
Promises given to meet up again one day
Don’t dwell on things you wish you’d said
Make plans for the future and look ahead
We can’t change what we should have done
But count our blessings one by one
A new year gives us a fresh start
To say what’s deepest in our heart
To tell our loved ones each and every day
How much we love them in every way
So try to bring happiness in all you do
And good fortune will surely follow you.
