At the moment he will only eat IAMS and tinned Sinsburys white crab meat. (97p per little tin! - not cat food!)
On a fairly regular basis I throw away cat food. This week I have opened and chucked away
Felix supermeat pouches
Tescos tinned cat food - various types
M and S tins of sardines and tuna
He won't eat cooked chicken or any other meat.
He's quite partial to fresh prawns but he doesn't get them very often.
Sometimes he disappears for a few days and comes back fatter than before so someone is feeding him something he likes!
Have you any suggestions?

How about following him and then asking the people what they're giving him? 😉
If he's not going hungry, I'd save some money, I think.
My grandmother had a lovely old cat who would eat nothing but tinned pilchards. In oil. Not tomato.
Or what about the preference of 8 out of 10 cat owners (who were asked)? 😀

i have had very fussy cats and when they did not eat i only put out dried food that way you do not waste it and when they are hungry they will def eat and let you know they are hungry, dont owrry her seems not to be getting starved anyway

sounds like everyone is feeding her, what is her condition like, is she looking badly fed?
My inlaws had a cat that 4 of the neighbours were feeding.

My cats will only eat IAMs - nothing else. I too have tried many other things, and end up throwing them away. One of them will now tolerate a little bit of the new IAM pouches, but not the whole thing.
I guess if they are happy to eat IAMs, I just ring the changes by buying different flavours each time.
