RE: Cloud Appreciation Society
Hi V
..... where I live the fog is such that you can't see beyond 50 yards for the past 3 days.
Little better here ... 100 yards!
I haven't yet looked at sunanda's link, but maybe there orthe next time you're lying on your back looking at the clouds, you could try a little gentle Pareidolia.

There are former HP threads on this, or Search should find them on "seeing faces" 😉
Happy Christmas to you too,

RE: Cloud Appreciation Society
Wow, this is awesome... I had no idea there was such an enthusiasm about clouds out there! Thought it was just me 😀
Clouds seem to have a synchronsitic language all of their own.
The symbology of 'the cloud' resonates with me deeply.
Thank you for posting the link Sunanda.
With Love

RE: Cloud Appreciation Society
LOL, Trin. If you love clouds, so do I. 😀
I remember in a South London park during a hot summeer being stripped off to a small bathing piece. I had set myself in a wide space with nobody anywhere near me. And I was utterly enrapped in watching the cloud formations as I lay there, and some of the highbirds, which you could hardly see.
So ... after an hour of this I "came back to Earth", looked around, and there were guys all around me. ;)I was new to the area and naive, having no idea it was where gays met up!

RE: Cloud Appreciation Society
Wonderful site, thank you Sunanda.
Laura I now realise I'm a Pareidoliholic as far as clouds are concerned, which is nice because I've just given up alcohol and I have to have some vicein my life.

Venetian.... my imagination is going wild!!! [sm=smilie_santalol.gif]
Sounds like we all have a dramatic cloud story to tell. Earlier this year I was at the top of Mount Sinai camping (as you do) and nearly jumped out of my skin to see NEMO (as in 'Finding Nemo) up there made out of a cloud as clear as could be!!! The clouds changed into about seven different animals within a very short space of time. I have never seen anything quite like it, and thought that perhaps the altitude was making 'getting to me', but, no, I was not the only one to witness the clouds and their entertaining performance. Infact the whole trip was rather profound! But Nemo??? How bizzare 😀
It was awesome up there, so still that I could hear my own heartbeat.
