I've hardly had any time to pop by HP due to work and other things, but I hope you good people don't mind if I ask for some healing for myself in the meantime?
I had a mole removed from my back last week, and the stitches removed yesterday.
The wound had sealed so beautifully with Reiki and some TLC, but yesterday evening I painfully burst open and I now have a gaping fleshy hole that has no hope of resealing itself edge-to-edge (the edges have dried).
I'm loathe to go have more stitches, as they were begining to aggrevate my skin before, and I don't want to upset the area any further.
I'm doing sensible wound-management such as keeping it covered and clean (I've bought some silver wound covers from the pharmacist's dispensary, and hope these will help with physical healing too), but am really struggling with movement - getting up or sitting down stretches the skin and I'm back to square one in terms of it being open.

The frustration is really getting me down (as is the smarting whenever I do too much in terms of move about), so any healing for my back is greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much,
Sarah x

:osorry Sarah but being a sensible head I have to say go back to your doctor and get it looked at, a nasty infection can happen easily no matter how hard you try and keep the area clean..I had a mole...actually beauty spot:cool: removed off my back 14 years ago and all was ok...but please, see your GP if only to confirm you're doing everything right

In the meantime....sending you lots and lots of positive thoughts xxxxxxx

I agree with having it rechecked. 🙂

...so any healing for my back is greatly appreciated.

Thank you all for your healing and input.
I went and made the pharmacist have a proper look at it, and he agreed that if it got worse I shouldn't hesitate to go get it seen at the GP.
This said it's slowly but surely improving, and whilst it's not miraculously healed, it's not painful and has a contented look about it 🙂
I'm not so worried about getting a stitch if I need to now, as the area around it has cleared a lot.

xx
