I too am so pleased that your Mum is doing so well physically and in many ways, at the moment it's a blessing that she doesn't really know what is going on. As I said before, I'm so glad you have your sturdy Oak to lean on! 🙂

Glad to hear things are easing with your Mums physical problems and have to agree with Principled that maybe its a blessing in disguise that your Mum isn't totally aware of things at the moment.
My thoughts are with you both - especially for Wednesday and also for the days and weeks after when you feel you "should" be settling and getting things straight and when you need to be gentle with yourselves because there are patches sometimes that may not be as smooth as you feel it "should" be.
But it will all ease and life will adjust to its new rhythm in the end.

Im sorry ive only just seen your post, your mother sounds like a lovely lady i used to work with people in a EMI unit i loved it, they may have Dementia but in their own world they are Happy.
