Poor Grandad

Please please if you have time could you send my Grandad some healing and positivity? He isn't too good at the moment so could do with a huge hug to boost his spirits..........Thank you soooooooo much, Kate x x My poor Grandad has been in hospital since around July this year as he had problems with his bowel and internal bleeding and had lost a huge amount of weight. They patched him up and sent him home but he was back as his shopping trolley fell on him on a slope at the supermarket. He broke his hip, shoulder and elbow. Was kept in for ages for his hip to heal and loss of weight. He still weighs around 8 stone. He then fell at hospital as he needed the bathroom and didn't want to bother the nurses as they were dealing with an emergency. He broke his hip again. He isn't one to whinge so when he complains that his hip doesn't feel right and is in pain we know that he is being brave. He had pneumonia 2 weeks ago which hasn't really cleared up and has been in a care home since last Monday. Think he will be back in hospital very soon as he just isn't putting weight on and he sounds ill from the chest infection. My Mum said last night that it sounded as if he was giving up by saying he would never walk again and is refusing to go back to hospital. I don't blame him not wanting to go back in as it must be awful for him not being to look after himself.

How was your Grandad on Thursday? Do hope he's a bit better. What a time he's had - it must be so upsetting. Can I send all my best wishes to you all? Take care.

Thank you for all your kind words and hugs!!

Never got to see my Grandad last Thursday as the weather wasn't too kind to my partner (flat roofer) so he had to work late. Long story!!

Going to see Grandad in hospital (yes he is back as his chest infection hasn't cleared up yet) this Thursday so will hope he is on the mend and not feeling too down. Bless him!! :1kis:
