I found out yesterday that an old work colleague, someone I have a huge amount of respect for (he was also my Christmas dancing partner!) has suffered a stroke while on holiday, I'm so gutted, they say he's critical.! I find it so hard to imagine this lovely, lovely man who loves life so much in this way. I can't imagine what his family must be going through right now too. Why is life so cruel sometimes?? :016:

Hello Clarice08:)

If you find it hard to imagine your old work colleague this way, then dont try to !.

I am sure there will be many who will send wonderful Reiki healing for your colleague, but may I add by offering you some advice.

Visualize and Remember your colleague at a time where he most looked so healthy and radiant. By your imaging him without illness totally, as if it didnt ever happen and imagine feeling the happiness and joy that he shown at that time you were with him.

Maybe when you were dancing together?. How he felt, feel his happiness at that monent for example.

Or simply see him & believe within yourself as perfectly fit and healthy, and see without illness, looking so radiant and a beaming smile that shows him enjoying life and its wondeful joys.

Hold this image on a regular occasion if you struggle with the visualization at first. And try not to let any outer thoughts stray in about any illness.

This will help in many ways. Might be worth checking in or trying to find out how he is afterwards.

Blessings

Sacrel :nature-smiley-008:

Hi Sacrel

Sound advice, thanks! I didn't realise what I was saying, so easy to be negative isn't it. Your right though and when I think about him I do only see his face smiling and how he was when we worked together, he's quite a serious man, if you don't know him, but I was always able to make him smile and talk to him, some people thought he was a miserable sod, he wasn't. We used to have a scream at the christmas parties, he became the life and soul..! Not seen him for a few years but still very fond as where I worked was a huge part of my life and we all kinda keep tabs on each other, so kinda like an era thing as well, also I lost 3 close people less than 2 years ago and have just started feeling like there is light at the end if you know what I mean, would seem cruel, you know. Anyway, fingers are crossed and thanks for your reply.
