Hi,
Back in Durham now as have things needing done here.
Haven't had internet access for a week - so thanks Jeannie,Suzanne & Fairytrish.
It's really scary -Mum had to have her eyes taped up in case of damage as her eye muscles were too weak to blink/close -also couldn't swallow due to weak muscles & would sometimes choke AND couldn't press buzzer to summon help (had to rely on other patients -who weren't always there!!!!!!!).
So - has scar on cornea - which appears to be healing a bit & can now take small sips of water 🙂
It's going to be a L O N G haul - but baby steps are better than none.
I did my basic Reflexology routine on Mum-1st time she said it was the best visit ever!

Oh Yvonne how awful for your mam and for family to witness. Actually I felt quite emotional when reading your message thinking of some of the awful things people often have to go through like this.
Really great that you could help her with a little reflexology though. If you can still make it on 11/11 we can try a small group distance healing for her, well even if you can't make it we can still give it a go.

Caroline - thanks so much. Mum is able now to take small sips of water as she can now swallow a little - amazing what we take for granted in life now seems so major an achievement.
