He died of heart failure. Ive been to Fir Park twice since he died, today about 100 of us met and went, we even stopped traffic.
We had a minutes silence at 5.18, the time he died and then a minutes applause followed by the sounds of there's only one Phil O'Donnell.
His wife and kids have left signed Motherwell shirts, so has his nephew who also plays for Motherwell.
I left a Motherwell top and a Motherwell bear. What was so nice was that an ex Motherwell player McFadden, he plays for Everton now, when he scored yesterday, he didn't celebrate, he just pointed to the armband.
How many of us can say that when we die, people will say that there was never one bad word to say about us?
That was the measure of Phil O'Donnell. As someone wrote, heavens eleven has a new captain, what are we going to do without ours.
Rest in peace Phil, we will make you proud of us, you will never be forgotten x

Just back from the funeral, was so busy some of the official mourners had to stand outside and there were at least 500 fans outside as well in the freezing cold.
Rest in peace Phil
