I've been sending healing and positivity to the area too, as my brother in law lives in Japan. He lives and works in Hiroshima which is outside the zone affected. but all the same, we are just waiting to confirm all is well with him and his wife there.

We are not helpless at times like this as our prayers and positive thoughts at this time can be of great help.

Distant Healing for Japan

Hi,
Some members of a reiki community that I belong to are sending reiki, prayers and light to Japan tomorrow evening at 7.30pm if anyone would like to join in to make a combined effort.

Phew, I'm glad to say all is well with BIL and his wife. He is actually safe and working temporarily in Australia and his wife is in Spain visiting her family. He does not go back to Japan till 26th March so hopefully things will be much better by then.

I am still sending Reiki to Japan, as I know are a lot of others.

I had a long phone call with my nephew's wife today. They have only just moved to Tokyo and are traumatised. They haven't slept for 5 nights and are coming home tomorrow.

Trying to find peace in my prayers for them, I came across this wonderful article, written by a friend, also in Tokyo - and what a different experience she is having. it all depends on our perspective:

My niece did say how wonderful the Japanese people are - brave, stoic, resourceful, honest, disciplined and so kind. There has been no looting there, no panic. She told me that a florist had hastily locked her shop and left flowers in tubs outside. 5 days later, not one has been touched. She is now so motivated to reach out and help them rebuild their lives.
