I think of you often
and make no outward show,
But what it means to lose you,

You were gone before I knew it,
and only God knows why.
You are not forgotten
nor will you ever be,
As long as life and memories last,

To some you may be forgotten,
to others a part of the past,
But to me who loved you dearly,
your memories will always last.
Nothing can be more beautiful
than the memories I have of you.
To me, you were someone special,
God must have thought so too!
Cancer took his life at 46 years old one year ago today
Five years ago today you left us Will. Still think of you lots my lovely brother in law. Hope you are happy where you are.

December 2011 such a horrible month, a dear friend's mum died just before Christmas and also my aunt on New Year's Eve
My mam is always with me...
She's the whisper of the leaves
as I walk down the street.
She's the smell of bleach
in my freshly laundered socks.
She's the cool hand on my brow
when Im not well.
My mam lives inside my laughter.
She's crystallized in every tear drop.
She's the place I came from,
my first home...
She's the map I follow
with every step that I take.
She's my first love
and my first heart break...
and nothing on earth can separate us.
Not time, not space...
Not even her leaving...
will ever separate me
from my mam...
