was reminded by Blackcrow I had the same awful cough during pregnancy and my second was born by emergency c section ok. the first daughter was by emergency c section i had had cold(brought on by shock of being stuck in lift but thats another story!)was given oxygen and they went ahead wiht the c section as it was emergency. the baby small but ok.
so i think it is ok if lot of mothers get ill with flu and their babies are ok ( strong little ones!)

many thanks to everyone who sent healing as the cough isn't half as bad as it was!! i have never had a c section before so am a little weary of what to expect and having such a bad cough really had me worried,its lovely and reassuring to read all your mesages and i will keep you all posted when i get out of hospital xxxxxxxx
