My gosh Amy -- I can't send Reiki as I don't know how, but I can sendloving, healing, concerned thoughts and prayers out to your uncle, aunt and all touched by this. What a terrifying experience that must be to have your or a loved one's lung then both collapse. Mercy!

Thanks everyone, I haven't heard much, only that they've lowered his oxygen which I think is a good thing & I'm not too clear if he is still on life support but I'll let you all know when I do hear, thanks a million for all the positve vibes & healing

Thanks everyone, it's very appricated & much needed,
he's still heavily sudated with machines breathing for him (I'm not clear if that means he's on life support or not...I'm getting to hear from my dad who's in the same hospital & has been for weeks after a knee operation that went wrong & also renial (sp) failure, it was when my uncle was travelling back from the hospital after visiting my dad that he had the accident so if possible can I also ask for some healing for him too as I get a feeling that he's very down about it & feels responsible) but is said to be stable, the family are waiting to hear the results of some scans

theres still no change in my uncle, he's still not consious& my dads going to be the same for another 4 weeks until he has another operation, he had a knee replacment that got infected & woudn't clear so they took the knee out for 6 weeks to give the infection time to clear, they tried to put it back in last week but it was still infected so now he's got to wait another four weeks in hospital[:'(]& fingers crossed they'll be able to put his knee back in

I have a particular interest in what's happening to your Dad, as I have to have a knee replacement, eventually. I am putting it off for as long as is possible because, I admit, hearing things like what has happened to your Dad scares the bejabers out of me. [:o]

I think what has happened with my Dad is quite rare so please don't let it worry you, he had exactly the same thing happen a few years back with a hip replacement, he lives abroad & I think most of his problem is he has always been to quick to go home & has done too much & not allowed himself time to heal

So sorry about this worrying situation for your family Amy. I wish your dad and uncle both a full recovery, and hope your dad can keep his morale up over what must be a very frustrating period of time - it sounds from his previous experience as though he isn't the most patient of patients ( I know I'm not). Special thoughts also for your auntie, to whom this must obviously be bringing home some sad memories. Love to all of you.

Thanks again for your healing energy & positive thoughts, theres still no change with my uncle & he's still in an induced coma & apperantly there will be more news soon to what the doctors will do next...I don't quite undersatnd that...surley if the coma is induced they wouldn't 'switch off' the machines until he's breathing for himself

My Dads still completely fed up...that I can understand, thanks again

Just wanted to say thank you for all the healing & positive thoughts, my Dads kneeoperation went ahead last Tuesday & was successful this time & my uncle is now off the support machines & is recovering well in hospital
