Family and I swithced to Melaleuca Ecosense dishwashing gel. Ingredients are natural - baking soda, lemon juice, sugar cane etc and the clean is brilliant. Thought about usual ecosense but this one surely exceeds. Oh Yeah!!!

I don't have a dishwasher but use Ecover washing up liquid and their washing machine liquid also, very happy with it, very kind on your clothes, and hands.

Here's another vote for Ecover! I've been using the Ecover granulated dishwashing detergent for a couple of years now and am very pleased with the results. What I particularly like is no white film on my drinking glasses!

Mmmmm, 'fraid my homemade varients haven't been incredibly successful 🙂 and having to run a 2nd time defeats the object! So will be trying some proper eco products, thanks for the recommendations.
I used Ecover too when I had a dishwasher (just moved and don't have one yet...can see why handwashing uses as much water as a dishwasher now!)
I think Tesco do their own eco-friendly dishwasher tablets (if in the UK that is!) although I'm not so sure how 'green' buying stuff like that from big supermarkets like Tesco is...any ideas?
