Thank you Sunanda for the Riverford link. I ordered and will do in the future. Very yummy !!!
Sadly they also do meatboxes..organic or not, animals dont want to be eaten but that is a different subject and i will write my oppinion direct to them.
I love Riverford, they are really helpful and you can choose individual items now opposed to the old days of getting your box and trying to work out what some of the veg was and then what to do with it.... really good if you have time on your hands to be creative but I personally like to choose my own. Its so nice to get the veg still with mud on and it really lasts so much longer than the supermarket veg. If you have kids though and have a local farm nearby it is really lovely to pick your own. My boys are now expert carrot and cabbage diggers and its so satisfying to cook and eat what you have just dug up :0)
I find it just as easy to buy my organic produce for the local supermarket, it's also quite a bit cheaper 🙂
It's nice to support local sellers and growers, but organic costs more to begin with and these box schemes, even more 🙁
Just my experience and of course I appreciate this may not be so in other areas!

This is I find a good comprehensive list of Organic produce for those who wish to do thier homework http://www.alotoforganics.co.uk/cats/organic-vegetables.php
I agree with your price point view tarotlady however IMHO I really dont like the supermarkets values and therefore would rather pay slightly more than support thier buying methods 🙁
Well I have ordered my first order from Riverfords and it is coming today. It is one off as it is pricey and it is to see if the veg and fruit any good if so maybe order now and then.
