A mix of 1 part bicarbonate to 2 parts cornflour makes a great deodorant. I started using it awhile ago to save money and I'm surprised at how well it works. It keeps me quite dry. If you use a powder puff to apply the white marks aren't too much. You can add essential oils to make a scent you like, as well.

If you add essential oils, go steady on them; I think I added too many drops and got a rash! 🙂
Glad to help! The essential oils might be the trouble, although I've read that some people are sensitive to bicarb as well. I'd imagine that plain cornflour would work just as well for sensitive skin.
I use crystal spring rock deodorant from holland and barrett, but thinking of buying dr organic from the same shop they have different smells, tea tree, lavender and rose i think

Amethystfairy how did you get on with Dr Organic deodrants? I've been using aloe vera one and found it ineffective for me - I think someone phrased it right in this thread when they said 'pit pong' LOL
While buying white clay to make face masks this week the shop assistant told me she uses it under her arms.
I've not yet tried this, but thought I'd share.
