Hey Mystic Moon - that's great!!! I've been dreaming recently of men who I don't know who have shown caring gestures. A name also flashed into my mind as I woke up this morning, it was very alien-sounding and began with an S but my partner asked me a question on waking & it completely went - infuriating! I'm used to feeling gentle breaths / draughts / tickling on my face at night and when doing Reiki self-treatment meditations all of which I understand are signs of spirit. I think some people misunderstood my original email - I'm trying to make contact with my guardian angel, which everyone has, regardless of where they are on the spiritual ladder & personally I don't believe hierarchy has anything to do with contact. I've made contact with spirit guides previously through mediums & they change over time but I would like to reach out to my guardian angel to say 'hi' & thanks & just to acknowledge them - do you really think they'd think that was egotistical of me Otter?!

I agree with you re:hierarchy - it has nothing to do with whomever makes contact. I once met a lovely lady who refused to deal with anyone 'lower' than Jesus or her angel, which I thought was a bit sad since she was missing out on all the advice and support everyone else could offer...however, it was her choice and right for her. A very wise spirit once said that even those who are 'advanced' can learn from others following because they may take a path the older spirit missed on the way up...

Okay... I seem to have experienced one of my foot-in-mouth moments... maybe prompted your other post on Gen Discussions? [&:] I plead the fifth and offer a wearysome day and the start of you-know-what in my defence!
No, wanting to acknowledge your angel isn't egotistical and I do wish I'd used another word there but none came to mind... [8D] I offered up that observation as an example of how our human egos can fool us very easily and not as a judgement of your motivations in this case. A clear case of being interested in a topic and going off at a discussion-tangent instead of remembering we're not in a one-to-one conversation where we can read body language and tone of voice... darn forums cast that illusion sometimes...
So - apologies. I hope you meet your angel soon.

Hey, FL, nothing to feel foolish about... it happens to the best of us! Our emotions can affect SO much and if something we read hits an area we're a bit wobbly about that day... I read something just a few moments ago that had me tearful and I know that wasn't the intent of the writer!

Thanks again Otter. I think, like you said, it's really hard to interpret stuff when we can't have a face to face conversation - D'oh! At least you have a sense of humour about these things which is so important. I still haven't made a connection by the way but I'm experiencing dreams with people who I haven't met before but seem really familiar! It's can seem so complicated this spiritual stuff ;).
