Removing our personal barriers
Before we can begin to remove our personal barriers, we must first become aware of them. Before we can claim power over them, we must first raise our consciousness to the point where we can recognise them for what they are and the power they exert over us.
We all have barriers to our personal development and its the ones that we arent aware of that cause us the greatest problems and restrict our potential for growth on all levels. These barriers can prevent us from getting all of the things we need in life whether it be physical, mental emotional or spiritual. To understand our self imposed barriers we must have a point of reference that allows us to gauge our development and level of success. This point of reference is the knowledge that the universe provides us with all of the things we need or desire, subject to our higher good. If we havent got those things in our lives, its because we have set up our own personal barriers that stop us receiving them.
Barriers can take many forms but these will reflect a thought pattern that creates a belief about our selves, our self-image, and what we deserve in life. Change that thought and you can change the belief and through this, you change the person. A positive change and barriers are removed while a negative change will result in the barrier being strengthened.
To identify where a barrier may be exerting control over our lives we must ask our selves what is missing or lacking in our lives. This lack will show us where the flow is being restricted by our belief system. Everything that we could need or desire is already provided for us by the universe if it does not appear in our lives it is because we have chosen consciously or subconsciously to block it. If we want or need more money in our lives and no matter how hard we try our prosperity does not improve some where in our past experiences a barrier to wealth and prosperity has been formed.
We may believe that we dont deserve to have money we may feel that money is dirty or evil, in some cases we may even use the lack of what we want as a form of self punishment for some thing we have or havent done. Either way if we havent got it, its because we have stopped our selves from receiving it.
The intellect is not enough, the thought no matter how positive will lose out every time to the deep seated belief and to change that belief you have to first be aware of it. The lack of anything you need or desire is a shadow cast by the barrier we have erected or allowed others to erect for us, follow it back to its source and you will be able to identify it which is the first step in removing it. When we have accepted the principle that we our selves are the barrier to our own happiness we can begin to notice a change taking place.
If we were to identify one particular area in our lives that we wished to improve this could be love happiness health peace of mind wealth or prosperity, it could be any thing we wish.
Accept the fact that if there is a lack or shortage of this particular thing in your life you are in some way preventing your self from receiving everything that you could have. Begin to look at ways that you stop this flow from the universe to your self, some may be more obvious than others, but looking for them is the first step in finding them.
How do you know when you have found them? There will be a shift in your awareness and an increase in the thing you are looking to improve in your life. Each time you consciously look for these barriers you are making a statement to the universe that you are now ready and able to receive more of the blessings prepared for you. Remove a barrier and a trickle can become a torrent.
Why must we identify and remove these barriers ourselves, because we are blessed with free will and this God given right cant be overridden, even by the God who gave us the freedom to choose in the first place. All that we could want and all that we could be is ready for us at any given time. The ex

Very, very true, Phil... I've known for a while that the only person who holds me back from my potential is ME! Just have to get the ego to admit it and act on the knowledge... 😉

RE: Removing Our Personal Barriers
I couldn't agree more with your wise words - the very basis for our growth on the spiritual journey[sm=nature-smiley-008.gif]
I had the experience yesterday of helping pack up at the end of a personal development workshop, which I had not been involved in otherwise. As always, I was thrilled to see the realisation on so many happy faces that they themselves were responsible for their own experience - and starting to let go of the old shame and blame game. Freedom!
Keep putting it out loud and clear, my friend!
