Can someone please help me?
I have seen quite a few mediums and taort readers etc over the years and all have told me that I have the ability and when the time is right I will be able to see it. I went six or seven years ago to a spiritualist church and the medium that was there told me that it was not the right time for me but all my seeds have been sown and over the next five or six years I will be able to see and use my (not a word I want to use but cannot think of another one) powers.
In the last year I have been studying A&P and am in the process of finishing my massage course, then in September have enrolled for a reflexology course. I feel so comfortable when massaging and one lady said she felt as if I was healing her whilst doing the massage and she had the colour red inside her all the way through the massage, she told me to go and find out more as she feels I have a natural (here's that word again) power. I have been experiencing severe headaches in the last year and am very drawn into the spiritual and healing side of things. I know that someone is there but I cannot connect, I think this is more because I do not know how to connect, I am not frightened at all so I dont feel that is an obstacle. Please could anyone give me some advice on what I should do!
I also have tarot cards and used to do readings for people but was just not confident enough! But the urges to get them out and use them again have been really strong, although I have not as of yet as I have my massage exam in two weeks and want to get that out of the way first before I do.
Please if there is anyone that could help me or has advice I would greatly appreciate it.

Abilities is the word you're looking for. 😉

From the healing side of things, spiritualist churches tend to offer training in enhancing your abilities, or you could consider going for an attunement in one of the various forms of Reiki? As for connecting to spirit guides etc, this is again something that is developed with training from a spiritualist church (so I've been led to believe) although it's possible that your abilities can develop naturally. Maybe you should just let it happen naturally?

Confidence comes with practice, and there's plenty of people on the Readings forum here who jump at the chance to have a reading done or are willing to let you practice with them.

Thanks for the reply have read it and once all the studying is out of the way for a few weeks will try and find time for myself and then maybe things will become a little clearer.

Hi, I hope you don't mind me coming in on this thread, but reading it I was thinking how it reminds me of my experiences at times.
I know I have some ability - not as strong as some people I've known, but it is something that has run in our family.
I have always wondered about looking to improve what I can feel - inc. being able to heal, which I believe I also have some ability towards - but until recently I haven't, for various reasons had a chance to explore at all.
Would it be possible to find out where I could go? I have heard little snippets about Spiritualist Churchs but I don't know enough to hunt out a local one.
I hope this all makes sense 😮 I look forward to hearing from someone 😀

Sorry to say this but, I am glad that there is someone else out there feeling the same as me. A friend of mine is taking me to a Spiritualist Church this evening which is quite local to me so I will wait and see how it goes.
Good luck, I hope you find your right path. The one thing that I have always been told is that your abilities etc will only come to you when the time is right and not to rush anything. I have waited years and at the moment something is really happening although I cannot quite see what at the moment. As I say though I have waited so long that to wait a bit longer will not hurt and onviously when the time is right I will know exactly how to use my abilities.
