I dont think we can percieve what "the other side" is truly like, but one of the things I have discovered about myself on my spiritual journey is that I still hold the feeling of being in that place inside. The feeling is one of pure unconditional love...i cant even find the words to describe it. But when I found that feeling I knew I would never feel lonely ever again.

Eve, "expidition" yes in a sence, that could very well be the feeling, thank you for sharing
Paul, "Becauce Iv'e touch the other side and trust me when I say i'd rather be their now then posting on this forum" . Many people who have NDE do say thay feel such peace and want to stay, but they have been sent back because although they may feel sad it is not their time to go, they have more work to do on the earth plain. I know about the Spirit World through my own experience although I've too have had time in my life where I've felt like being there.
I learned.
Spirit World is all around us in everything we see of beauty here on Mother Earth.
The Experience of Touch is something one loses in the Spirit World, not being able to hug a loved one as we did on earth.
One only has to lift the Gray clouds that covers one's heart and like the petals of a rose, the heart can begin to blossom again and see's the beauty that has been hidden.
I thank God for each New Day and the experience of being here on Mother Earth, and to experience each day with the good and bad in life.

Well you know hunni each of us is walking a different path to the other, sometimes we tread similer paths but still differant, so therefore our reality will be different.;)
Yes I agree Ego does get in the way at times but its a humanisim that one must conqour imo to move on & forward. I don't feel that seeing death as non threatening & as a movement forward to meet our spirit friends is really Ego., or fantasey.You say you touched the other side & knowing you like I do I totally believe you.. but maybe to truely experience the other side you need to be there fully & not just touch it. A bit like when you go to someones house for the first time , you can touch the front door & knock to go in .. but until the door is opened & you step over the threash hold you really dont know whats on the other side of that door.
