Can anyone please be of help?
I am very new to complimentary therapies and spiritual matters.
I am if I am right in my thinking from what I have read that within each one of us we have male and female energies?
What does that mean? does that mean we have to feel each energy?
You see my other reason for my question, I am a bit confused.
I am married, in my 50's very happy, but I have found that I can also have feelings for the same sex. I do not mean in a sexual way. Some people come into my life and I love them, but it is not a I love you love. This love, it seems to come from inside of me. But how can love come from inside of me, yet I know it does. There has been a couple of male friends that I have felt this.
Someone once said, it could be a past link? someone else said, that I had this healing within and the love is me healing another, but how do you heal on love. Most of these people do seem to be lacking love in their life, but this worries me, as if it is healing, does something inside them know I have this love, if it is healing.
I am very sorry, if I have not written this very well. But would like some explanation, if at all possible.

On the subject of healing with love, I will leave that for someone else to answer. I would just like to say that IMHO there is nothing wrong with feeling love for loads of people, whether they are of the opposite or the same sex. Love doesn't have to have a sexual connotation, nor are we limited in the number of people we can love at any one time. the more the merrier, as far as I'm concerned.

On the male and female energy question, I think that we all have a loving side (female) that means we care for others and a power side (male) that is represents our ability to ask for what we want. Dunno if that's relevant. Could also look at the chinese philosophy side of things... yin and yang (female and male)... there is yin within yang and yang within yin.

As for feelings for others, I have a similar thing when I meet a new friend. It's a bit like a new toy I guess: I want to find out all about them and spend time with them, and can't wait to see them again. Doesn't mean I have feelings of love towards them though.

Any way we have had past aspects as a woman and as a man, maybe this is a part of you acknowledging this, and understanding what love is on a whole with out restrictions

Hello Sunanda.
I knew I had not written my feeling properly. When I said from inside, normally love comes from the heart, but this is different, it feels like my spirit or soul is giving this love and not me and from what I have been learning about spirit/soul/ and chakras, this feeling then seems to want to come out through the solar plexus which I have been told this is where our life force energy is and where the spirit joins our physical body. As said am new to this way of understanding, so am writing as it feels, but how do you really explain love.
Do we not have different love for different people? and if what I have been told that love can work as a healer, would this be different? I do not know.
I have pondered on past life, but I am not too sure if I believe we can feel things from our past lives, as I cannot understand how a or our spirit can hold on to memories if spirit is energy and no brain to hold information in.
I would like to thank all three of you for taking your time to read and reply to my question.
